POLICe are appealing for information after a man was robbed in Cheltenham.

The incident happened in Montpellier Gardens between 10.45am and 11am on Saturday, December 7.

The victim, a 35-year-old local man was walking through the park when he was approached by three men who asked him the time.

One offender attempted to take the victim’s mobile phone and when he tried to take it back, the second offender then punched the victim causing him to fall to the ground.

A Samsung mobile phone, packet of tobacco and a wallet containing cash and personal documents were taken.

The first offender is described as male, white and around 6ft tall. He was wearing a hat and scarf over his face. T

he second man is described as between 20 and 25-years-old, around 6ft 1ins tall and wearing tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

The third offender is described as male, black, between 20 and 25-years-old and around 5ft 6ins tall.

He was wearing a dark coloured hoody with the hood up over a dark peaked cap and black ‘desert’ boots.
