A WOMAN was sexually assaulted in Cirencester at the Corn Hall and police are appealing for information.

A 49-year-old woman from Swindon was standing at a stall in the Corn Hall, Market Place at around 1.45pm on Friday December 6.

A man then approached her and sexually assaulted her.

The man is described as white, male and aged between 45 and 50-years-old. He is around 5ft 9ins tall and described as having a red, bloated face with stubble. He was wearing a dark beanie hat, dark puffer jacket or body warmer with a white top underneath.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 250 of December 6.
