POLICE are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Cinderford on Sunday, December 8.
The incident happened in the car park of the Globe vet surgery on the High Street at about 11.40pm.
The 43-year-old victim was walking to his car when a man approached him and pushed him.
Another man joined the first offender and they kicked and punched the victim to the ground. The victim shouted at the men to stop during the assault and finally managed to run away and call the police.
The victim was left with bruises to his head and hands.
Nothing was taken during the incident.
The first offender is described as being of mixed race and the second offender as white. Both were around 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build and wearing hooded tops with the hoods up.
Anyone with information about the assault should call 101, quoting incident 536 of December 7.
