17-year-old motorcyclist from Swindon hospitalised following three car collision on A361 in Inglesham near Lechlade
POLICE are appealing for information after a 17-year-old motorcyclist from Swindon suffered serious head and chest injuries in a road traffic collision on the A361 road in Inglesham, near Lechlade.
At approximately 5.05pm on Saturday, October 19 the motorcyclist, riding a red Yamaha motorbike, collided with the rear of a blue Skoda Fabia.
The rider fell and was then struck by a red Mitsubishi Shogun that was being driven in the opposite direction.
The motorcyclist was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he is being treated for head and chest injuries.
The drivers of the other vehicles did not sustain any injuries in the incident.
The A361 was closed for approximately six hours while police secured the area.
