Fire crews from Stroud and Wotton-under-Edge called to midnight crash on the M5 in Gloucestershire
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a crash on the M5 in Gloucestershire in which it was believed that two people were trapped.
Crews from Stroud and Wotton-under-Edge arrived to the crash scene, between junctions 13 and 14 on the southbound carriageway, shortly before midnight on Friday, October 18.
Two people escaped from the vehicles before the emergency services had arrived and were uninjured.
Crews made the area safe by disconnecting the battery and clearing debris from the highway.
They were at the scene for just over one hour.
