Burglars break into tractor shed

BURGLARS broke into a tractor shed in Westrip between 8pm on Friday (October 11) and 9.30am on Saturday (October 12) by breaking a padlock. Police are appealing for information.
The burglars then moved a tractor steal a generator worth several thousand pounds.
Stables in Gloucester Road, Randwick were also broken into on the same night, with a petrol strimmer and generator taken in that case. Police think the burglaries may be linked.
Officers are reminding people that fitting padlocks may not be enough to prevent an outbuilding being burgled.
Anyone with information on either crime should call 101, quoting incident 186 of October 12 (Westrip burglary) or 216 of October 12 (Randwick burglary).
