POLICE in Gloucester want to speak to three potential witnesses to a fight in the early hours of Saturday, October 5.

Officers were called to Spa Road in the city just after 4am following reports that six people were preparing to fight with weapons including a knife, metal pole and wooden stick.

Those arrested include a 33-year-old Gloucester man, 34-year-old Birmingham man and 41-year-old Cheltenham man on suspicion of affray in connection with the case.

They were bailed to attend Gloucester police station on November 20.

The 33-year-old man had suffered a laceration to the knee.

Police are now urging three men seen in the area at the time to come forward on 101, quoting incident 129 of October 5.

PC Jeffrey Lloyd said: "People who choose to brandish weapons on the streets of Gloucester should be prepared to be dealt with accordingly.

"We will not tolerate incidents like and we hope the community will come forward if they can help us with our inquiries."
