A MAN woke up in hospital with cuts and bruises to his face but no memory of how he got there.
Police are trying to find out what happened to the man, who woke up in Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with two black eyes, a swollen nose and cuts to the head.
The 41-year-old Gloucester resident was out in Gloucester city centre on the evening of Monday, September 2 when he was injured.
He spoke to a Liverpudlian man in The Chambers Pub on St Aldate Street at around 8.30pm and then recalls being in an alleyway in Eastgate Street.
He was found there by a member of the public and admitted to hospital at 1.30am on Tuesday, September 3.
Officers have trawled through CCTV and found images of men they would like to speak to in connection with the case.
