Farmor's School in Fairford is holding a design show next Thursday as part of an open evening
A FAIRFORD school will be showing off its design and technology skills next week as it hosts a fun and fiery evening of rockets, robots and fashion.
Farmor's School is holding a design show in conjunction with the open evening on Thursday, September 26 to show current and prospective parents and pupils the highlights of the school's design and technology department.
Across the evening students, parents, and visitors will be able to enjoy a free fashion show with costumes made by students, rocket bottles launched in the car park, a laser cutting demonstration, a catering demonstation and more.
Organiser of the show with other members of the department Wyn Upton said the show will be a combination of work by GCSE and A-Level students studying textiles, product design, catering and graphics.
"It'll be an interactive display of the design and technology department. We're still finalising all the details and have one more meeting before the big night."
The design show will run from 5-8pm with the fashion show starting at 7pm. All demonstrations and shows are free to enter.
