Dealer bass player, Pete Gentil, named as man killed in crash near Ampney Coln

THE bass player of well known Cirencester heavy metal band Dealer has been named as the man killed in a motorcycle accident on the B4425 on Saturday evening.

It is believed that Pete Gentil, 52, collided with a deer while riding his black aprillia motorcycle, at around 7.50pm on Saturday evening.

The accident happened near the junction of Welsh Way and Hay Lane near Bibury.

Dealer first came to prominence in the 1980s and made a successful comeback in 2011, after a 25 year break, with a sell out Russian tour.
