THE runway at Hullavington Airfield was a mass of emergency service vehicles yesterday as firefighters rescued injured people from crashed cars, police dogs arrested criminals and paramedics took off to save lives.
The Emergency Services Show proved an irresistible draw to families from miles around, with youngsters able to hit the sirens and blue lights to their hearts’ content.
Organising committee member Insp Mark Levitt was delighted with the turnout and it looked as though numbers could be up on previous years.
