A 30-YEAR-OLD Cirencester man pleaded guilty to stealing beef, chicken and cheese from two food stores in the town when he appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Tuesday, August 13.
Christopher Wadley, of Golden Farm Road, confessed to stealing beef and chicken products from the Cirencester-branch of Waitrose on August 9 and also admitted taking meat and cheese from the Budgens store in Chesterton Road on August 12.
The court heard Wadley had been struggling with drug problems at the time of the offences.
His case has been adjourned until Wednesday, August 21, when he will be sentenced via video link at Stroud Magistrates Court.
