Jennifer Chattaway from Cirencester wins prestigious publishing award at ceremony in House of Lords, London
A WOMAN from Cirencester has been given a prestigious award at a ceremony in the House of Lords in recognition of her creative work.
Jennifer Chattaway was one of the 17 winners at this year’s Print Futures awards, a scheme set up to help people fund their way through a training course in printing or publishing.
Jennifer has won a place City University in London doing a master’s degree in magazine journalism after previously gaining a 2:1 in English at Nottingham.
The 2013 Print Futures Awards, which was boosted by a £30,000 cash injection from The Printing Charity, attracted a record number of applications and winners.
All of the 17 winners were presented with their awards at a lavish reception hosted by Baroness Dean of Thornton-le-Fylde on Tuesday, July 23.
