A SHOP supporting an organisation that provides essential local services for the elderly and isolated as well as local charities has celebrated its fourth birthday.
Cotswolds Volunteers provides a volunteering bureau offering a lifeline to local charities but also runs services including transport for the elderly helping some of the district's most vulnerable residents.
The Fairford branch of Cotswold Volunteers marked the occasion this month and manager Hazel Selby said its success had been down to the dedication of the volunteers that work there.
She said: "Over the past four years we have been particularly lucky to have such a team but most of all we have amazing support from the community.
"Without donations of goods from the public and loyal customs who come back time and time again we could not raise the funds needed."
