Draft neighbourhood plan on show

THE latest draft Malmesbury Neighbourhood Plan goes on public display later this month.
An early version of the plan, which has been put together by a committee of volunteers from the town, St Paul Without and Brokenborough backed by planning experts, was published just as the Gleeson appeal for 180 homes at Filands got under way in January.
Preferred sites for housing and retail development are detailed in the scheme, which is expected to go through many revisions before a final referendum of residents.
Local people are being encouraged to view the plan and make their comments online at malmesburyneighbourhood.com as well as visiting the market room in the town hall between 10am and 3pm on March 23.
