Brinkworth and Alderton hit by burglaries

CASH and jewellery were stolen in two burglaries at Brinkworth and Alderton near Malmesbury yesterday.
The property in Brinkworth was broken into between noon and 5pm and cash was taken. The Alderton break-in happened during the evening.
Police are not ruling out a link with four burglaries at Sherston, Hullavington and Great Somerford on February 26 when intruders were disturbed by residents and attempted to pass themselves off as police or security officers.
Anyone who spotted anything suspicious or has information is asked to call 101.
