Firefighters from Fairford battle chimney fire in the St John’s Bridge area of Lechlade

FIREFIGHTERS battled a chimney fire in Lechlade this morning.
The crew from Fairford Community Fire Station were called to the in the St John’s Bridge area of the town at around 9.35am.
The four firefighters used chimney rods to deal with the blaze and spent around 50 minutes at the scene.
