Why not put in a roundabout while they are at it, it doesn't exactly need Werner Von Brown to work out how they could do it.
Maybe Tony Curry will kick some donkeys after May and get CC motivated.

Why would Cirencester vote for a proven Tory loser who is also a Freemason?

We've had enough of such people.

Because he gets things done?
Because he's hard working and a thoroughly decent bloke, and we have far more pontificators at Ciren than we need now and we need do'ers.
How many reasons do you want?

You've just described Cllr Joe Harris - who has a PROVEN record of action.

Agreed, except Joe's record of actual success is a little sketchy, though full marks for asking for a refeendum on the market place, and zero marks for backing down.

Cllr Harris questioned the CDC Leader's business ethics which is more then you ever did.

Cllr Harris assisted during the floods when the MP abandoned Cirencester.

Cllr Harris led the charge against the 24/7 car parking charges and stood up for Cirencester.

Everyone knows Joe.

It would be a great opportunity to install a roundabout or lights at this junction rather than forcing people to go round the Tesco roundabout and back up to turn left at Preston.
I understand why it was done but there is now an opportunity to make it even better.
