Activist group Fathers 4 Justice to disrupt Cheltenham Gold Cup on Friday

ACTIVISTS from Fathers 4 Justice are planning to disrupt the Cheltenham Gold Cup, the Standard has learned.

Information was leaked to the Standard today that three members of the group, which campaigns for equal rights for divorced fathers, are planning to disrupt the 3.15pm race on Friday.

The trio are said to be dressing as male suffragettes with a banner saying “Give Dads equal rights”.

Fathers 4 Justice are well-known for their publicity stunts, often involving members dressing up as superheroes.

UPDATE: A spokesman from Fathers 4 Justice confirmed the organisation has no plans to disrupt the races.

She added there are a number of individuals across the country who use the group's name but are not associated with it.

Just waiting for a racehorse called "Bur-gar," or "Findus Lasagne" so I can watch what I eat.
