Memorial service for former Fairford mayor Scott Thomlinson

A MEMORIAL service is to be held for a former mayor of Fairford.
Scott Thomlinson, who died at the age of 89, was mayor between 1987 and 1989.
Cllr Rob Winney, Mayor of Fairford, said Scott would be very much missed by the community.
He said: “He was a friend of mine and unfortunately many of the people that knew Scott well are no longer with us.
“Therefore we hope that many people will be able to attend the memorial this week to pay their respects.”
The service takes place at St Mary’s Church, Fairford, at 2pm on March 1.
