Charity set up in memory of ski death child

THE family of Jemima Prees, killed last week in a skiing accident in Austria, have set up a charity in her memory.

Called "Jemima's Gift" to reflect her gift for making the most of life and caring for others, it will help other children take up opportunities in the arts, sport and education.

The 10-year-old suffered serious head injuries and died after she ran off the piste and into woodland. Her organs were donated to help four other people.

Donations can be made through the website jemimasgift.co.uk or care of D J Bewley Funeral Directors, 15 Bank Street, Melksham SN12 6LE.

Jemima’s funeral is due to be held tomorrow at Colerne.
