A FLOOD alert has been issued today for the upper Avon and its tributaries at Malmesbury.
According to the Environment Agency up to 9mm of rain is expected to fall up to midnight .
River levels on the Tetbury Avon at Brokenborough, Sherston Avon at Fosseway,, the Avon at Great Somerford and Dauntsey Brook are rising.
