Residents asked to help stamp out dog fouling in Tetbury

DOG fouling is being stamped out in Tetbury with the help of eagle-eyed residents.

The town council has launched an online survey for residents to record where they have seen dog mess in the town so dog wardens can attempt to identify the culprits.

The survey can be found at surveymonkey.com/s/CRBP5KM

What is it with dog owners? Anyone shopping in Fairford, Cirencester or Fairford would have to be careful not to tread in dog poo. I've seen quite posh owners out with their dogs (no on leads) who seem blissfully unaware what their pet is doing 20 or 30 paces behind them. I'd allow parking wardens to be able to ticket errant dog owners too. Considering that you can get fined for spitting on the pavement, why not get fined for the poo your pooch leaves behind.

Apologies for the typo in my earlier posting. 3rd line should have read (not on leads).
