Firefighters from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service cut away floorboards in house fire in Mill End, Northleach

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house fire in Northleach just before midnight last night.
Fire engines from Northleach and Stow-on-the-Wold were called to the house on Mill End at around 11.50pm and found the fire was under the floorboards of the house.
They battled the flames by cutting away the floorboards and spent around two hours at the scene.
A spokesman from Great Western Ambulance Service said they were not called to the fire.
