Heavy snow expected in the Cotswolds tomorrow

HEAVY snowfall of more than 25cm is expected to fall across the Cotswolds from the early hours tomorrow.

The Met Office has issued an amber warning for snowfall across Gloucestershire and Wiltshire from 4am until 6pm on Friday.

Up to 15cm of snow is expected to fall widely, with the risk of 25cm or more over high ground.

Winds will also strengthen and blizzard conditions are likely, so drivers have been warned to take care and expect severe disruption.
