Decisions made on Cotswolds planning applications
5:00pm Friday 11th January 2013 in News By Ian Craig
THE following planning applications were decided at Cotswold District Council’s planning committee on Wednesday:
- A large sycamore tree on the border of Cirencester’s Abbey Ground is to be cut down over concerns its continued growth would damage a historic wall. CDC’s planning committee approved plans to fell the tree on Corinium Gate, with a replacement to be planted elsewhere.
- A new set of doors and windows will be installed at Newcombe Court retirement home on Victoria Road, Cirencester, after a planning application was approved.
- An application for an extension on the side of a home on Lemynton View, Moreton-in-Marsh has been delayed. CDC’s planning committee heard concerns the two-story extension would overlook a neighbouring garden and deferred the application while members carry out a site visit.
- A first floor extension is set to be built at a home on Berrells Road, Tetbury after CDC’s planning committee approved an application.
