E-fit released in hunt for Cirencester New Year’s Day attacker
AN E-FIT has been released in the hunt for an attacker who headbutted a man in Cirencester early on New Year’s Day.
The unknown attacker headbutted the victim after an altercation on the traffic island at the junction of Castle Street and Tetbury Road at around 3am.
The victim suffered facial injuries and was taken to Cirencester Hospital, where he is believed to have required surgery.
The attacker is described as white, around 18 years old, about 6ft tall and was of slim built with short dark-blond hair. He was wearing a grey t-shirt.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 211 of January 1.
