Wyvern Theatre show told to advertise for ‘Wolf Boy’ act with Jobcentre Plus

JOB hunters in Swindon may have been put off by a rather hairy job description advertised online.

A position for a Wolf Boy - or Girl - has been advertised by the Circus of Horrors.

The show’s creators worried they would be for the chop after they came across legislation stating the role should be advertised online and with the job centre.

They had lined up a new act from Mexico as they embark on a UK tour this year.

Show creator, Dr Haze, said it was a very strange state of affairs.

“We are pretty sure there are not any Wolf Boys or Girls in the UK but we still have to advertise the job over here.

“The thing is the applicant must be a genuine Wolf person.”

The advertisement stipulated requirements for the successful candidate.

People with beards or masks will not be accepted.

But a woman with a beard may be considered under different job opportunities.

It added they should have circus skills to a high standard.

The circus comes to Wyvern Theatre, Swindon, on January 18 for one night only.
