Moreton-in-Marsh 14-year-old girl charged with GBH over knife attack

A TEENAGE Moreton-in-Marsh girl has appeared at Gloucester crown court today accused of slashing a 16-year-old boy with a craft knife in a bus shelter.

The 14-year-old girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with wounding the boy with intent to do him grievous bodily harm in Moreton. She also faces a less serious alternative charge of unlawful wounding.

The alleged victim suffered horrific cuts to his forearm and hand.

Recorder David Lane QC bailed the girl to return to court on March 11 for a plea and directions hearing.
