A COMMUNITY in Cirencester came together for a Christmas lunch in aid of charity.

St Clements Walk residents Jason Garlick and Jonathan Lewis-Hughes had their hands full when they took on the challenge of preparing a Christmas dinner for the street’s residents.

But Jason said it was well worth the effort.

"The dinner was a great success and very well received," he said.

The festive event, which was supported by Jesse Smith butchers in Cirencester, raised £65 for veterans’ mental health charity, Combat Stress.
