A MAN accused of robbery at a Malmesbury jeweller’s shop has admitted the charge.
Christopher Pike, 29 of Devizes, was remanded in custody until December 21 by a judge when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.
The defendant, who faces other allegations of theft and burglary, admitted taking money during the incident in the high street on October 5.
A fellow trader came to the aid of the female shop assistant after hearing her scream and the raider fled on a motorbike.
