Firefighters battled a fire at a pub on The Square, Stow-on-the-Wold

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire at a pub in Stow-on-the-Wold last night.
The fire service received a call just after 9.40pm to say smoke was coming out of the floor of the pub on The Square.
One fire engine from Stow station cut away floor joists and used buckets of water to put out the flames.
It is not clear what caused the fire.
