Royal wedding florist Shane Connolly to visit Highgrove shops in Tetbury and Bath this weekend.

THE florist responsible for the floral arrangements during the Royal Wedding will be working his magic at the Highgrove shops in Tetbury and Bath this weekend.

The Highgrove charity will be launching its Christmas range on Monday and Shane Connolly will be on hand at the two shops over the weekend to create floral backdrops.

Visitors to the shops will be able to see the royal florist at work in Bath from 5pm on Saturday and in Tetbury from 8am on Sunday.

Shane said he hoped his work would inspire others to get involved in floral decoration.

“Doing the wedding was an honour and pleasure, but the most positive thing we can take away from it is showing people how to use trees and plants in decorating,” he said.

The Northern Ireland-born florist will also be giving a talk at Tetbury’s Highgrove shop from 10.15am to 2pm on Wednesday December 5.
