Dyson accuses rival firm of industrial espionage

DYSON has accused rival firm Bosch of placing a spy in its research and development base at Malmesbury.

The firm has filed a claim in the High Court alleging the spy was working on Dyson digital motors and passing secrets to Bosch for up to two years.

It also claims secrets were passed to Bosch’s motor manufacturer in China and that when presented with evidence of the wrongdoing Bosch refused to return the technology or undertake not to use it.

Bosch has denied the claim.
