Gloucestershire Police and Crime Commissioner nominees named

VOTERS in Gloucestershire will have the chance to choose between four candidates in next month’s Police and Crime Commissioner elections.

Victoria Atkins from Bourton-on-the-Water will stand as the Conservative Party candidate for the role, while Alistair Cameron from Cheltenham has been nominated by the Liberal Democrats.

Rupi Dhanda from Gloucester has been nominated by the Labour Party while Martin Surl will stand as an independent candidate.

Voters will go to the polls to decide who to elect to the newly-created position on Thursday November 15.
