Supermarket thieves strike again

A SHOPPER had her purse stolen as she browsed in the Oxfam shop in Malmesbury.

The victim, who noticed a woman in her late 20s close by, lost a debit card and £15 cash in the incident on March 15.

The theft comes just over a month after an elderly woman had £180 taken from her purse while she shopped in the Co-op nearby.

She gave an eastern European couple some change but later realised her purse had been opened and the money taken.

Anyone with information about either offence is urged to contact police on 0845 4087000 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
