New Brewery Arts in conjunction with Painswick Rococo Garden Trust

NEW Brewery Arts is delighted to be working with Painswick Rococo Garden Trust throughout August providing a wide range of art and sculpture workshops designed to complement the Trust's annual Art in the Garden exhibition.
As the Trust actively encourages engagement with sculpture and installation work, New Brewery Arts is offering a series of workshops from drawing to watercolours to wood carving - all set within the Rococo Garden. The experience will give visitors to the exhibition a better understanding of the skills, techniques and thought processes that go into creative making.
Fun and families are catered for in a wonderfully imaginative workshop making fantastic birds from driftwood and found materials. 'Let's Make A Flock' takes place on the afternoon of Sunday, August 12 and the resulting 'flock' will remain on show as part of Art in the Garden for the rest of the month.
More details at www.newbreweryarts.org.uk Art in the Garden won the Cotswolds Tourism Awards 'event of the year' last year. The exhibition promises to be an even bigger success this summer with the opportunity for art lovers to experience hands-on creativity. The 2012 title for the exhibition is 'Embarkation for Dangerous Liaisons', a theme that takes its inspiration from the painting 'Embarkation for Cythera' by the French Rococo artist Jean-Antoine Watteau, and the novel 'Les Liaisons Dangereuses' by Choderlos de Laclos.
Art in the Garden is open throughout August, seven days a week from 11am to 5pm. Admission price: £6.50 adults, £3 children. Admission is included in New Brewery Arts workshops. www.rococogarden.co.uk
