THERE will be an exhibition of new paintings by international artist Sue Townsend at Malmesbury Town Hall, from August 21 to September 7, 10am to 4pm daily.
This is an exceptional exhibition of work done over the last year by Sue. It includes a new series of paintings and drawings of Malmesbury, Tetbury and Westonbirt Arboretum and other subjects. Her love of colour and expression are apparent in all of her work and shows an exceptional understanding of the character of her subjects. Her animal portraits bring out their character and show a remarkable feeling for her subjects.
The exhibition represents a good volume of work done by this international artist.Sue has exhibited in USA, France and Malta and more recently in London at W.H. Patterson's gallery in Albemarle Street. She has also exhibited not only in various local exhibitions but also at the RWA Friends and Clifton Art Club.
