The Open-air Theatre Festival in the Tuckwell Amphitheatre will be brigning back Philomusica who will be performing classics such as Oliver and My Fair Lady.

FOLLOWING on from their festival debut last year, The Open-air Theatre Festival in the Tuckwell Amphitheatre are proud to welcome back Philomusica on Sunday, July 22 at7.30pm. The chorus and soloists from this longstanding local choir will be rejoicing in Britain's unique summer of events, celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the landmark London Olympics 2012 with a miscellany of music reflecting our capital city.

Philomusica is a mixed choir of around 100 members, aged from 8 to 80. The group will perform selections from great British favourites such as, Oliver and My Fair Lady along with many other musical reminders of London. With the event taking place just five days before the magnificent Olympic Opening Ceremony, everyone will be in the mood for a great British knees-up.

Tuckwell Amphitheatre, Dean Close School, Shelburne Road, Cheltenham. Festival grounds will open one and a half hours before the show for picnicking. Please take suitable clothing and your own seating.
