International artist Sue Townsend to exhibit at the Backyard Gallery in Tetbury

THERE will be an exhibition of new paintings by International artist, Sue Townsend, at the Backyard Gallery, 25a Long Street, Tetbury, from April 28 - May 7, 10.30am to 5pm daily. This is an exceptional exhibition of work done over the last year. It includes a new venture of wildlife painting of birds which have been inspired by her visits to Slimbridge and her regular observations of the feeding station in her garden in Tetbury. The collection includes some paintings of threatened birds in this country including the Starling and Song Thrush.

Also in this exhibition are watercolours and drawings of Venice and places nearer to home.

Her love of colour and expression are apparent in all of her work and shows an exceptional understanding of the character of her subjects.
