CIRENCESTER is home to many amazing galleries and five will be open between 6-9pm on Thursday, December 2 to welcome the discerning shopper.

During the evening the galleries aim to provide the perfect ambience in which to find truly individual and exclusive gifts for friends and loved ones.

Not only will you be able to browse amongst the latest collections of beautiful paintings, and prints, ceramics and sculpture, furniture, jewellery, textiles and more, but there will be festive refreshments and entertainment to cheer you on your way and, if you visit all five galleries, have the opportunity to win a £100 voucher to spend in the participating gallery of your choice.

The five galleries work together at this time of the year as a way of promoting the range and quality of art and contemporary craft in the town. "This is the third year we have run the event and we hope to attract even more people to the town and raise Cirencester's profile as a truly unique centre for contemporary art and craft," said Annie Gould, Marketing Manager at New Brewery Arts, where you can source beautiful objects for the home in the Fires and Feastings exhibition as well as in the Craft Shop and the On Site Maker Studios (and, back by popular demand, join in a cake tasting).

Participating Galleries are: New Brewery Arts, Brewery Court; The Wonderwall Gallery, 7 Gosditch Street; Wetpaint Gallery, The Old Chapel, 14 London Road; The Dollar Street Gallery, 34 -36 Dollar Street; M.A.D.E, 9 Silver Street For more information about what is on in each gallery this Christmas visit www.cirencester-art-galleries.com
