IF YOU think you know what recorders sound like, think again. Acoustic Portrait's last performance at the Sundial Theatre, Cirencester, was a real ear opener.

Most of the audience stayed for an hour afterwards to talk to the performers and discuss their huge range of instruments and amazing techniques.

This concert is a new programme inspired and influenced by world music, celebrating cultural diversity through one of the oldest and most versatile instruments. Bringing together east and west, African-inspired rhythms, traditional Japanese harmonies, ancient Sephardic melodies, Latin American sounds, Gypsy and English folk music.
