Do you like honey? Can you tell the difference between a wasp, bumblebee and a honeybee?
Did you know that at the height of summer a beehive can contain on average fifty thousand bees!
On Sunday, September 16, the Stroud Beekeepers Association is running its annual taster day.
The day will consist of both basic theory and practical training.
Participants will have the opportunity to see inside a honeybee hive, see a queen bee and protective clothing will be provided.
Ideal for anyone interested in taking up beekeeping as a pastime, producing their own honey, or for those who would simply like to learn more about honeybees.
