AMERICANA trio Iron & Oak bring their own unique fusion of sound to Tetbury’s Goods Shed Art Centre on Saturday, April 28 at 7.3opm.

Sarana VerLin (fiddle, guitar, mandolin) and Heather Bristow (fiddle, guitar) from America and James Slater (guitars) from the UK bring you roots music influences from both sides of the ocean.

Their style is a fusion of contemporary folk, alt-country, swampy blues, old-timey/bluegrass and red dirt music.

Their musical chemistry is based around their entwining voices and harmonies, bedded on a layer of rhythmic guitar and smoky violins.

Together as singer-songwriters they perform their own compositions along with original arrangements of old and new songs.

Individually Sarana, Heather and James have toured in the UK, Europe, USA and Canada, and Sarana was recently nominated as Oustanding Classical Instrumentalist in Detroit’s (Michigan, USA) Detroit Music Awards.

The band will be joined at the Goods Shed by special guests Ben Dickens (electric and acoustic guitar) and Will Southcote (keyboard and piano accordion).

Tickets £10 from Tetbury Tourist Information Centre and online at shed-arts.co.uk, as well as on the door on the night.

Doors open at 7pm.Music starts at 7.30pm.
