Gildas Quartet
GILDAS Quartet are returning to St Mary's Church in Kingswood, Wotton-Under-Edge, with a concert on Friday, September 22.
The Quartet are seeking to take part in the 2018 Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition and have chosen St Mary's as the ideal venue to record their audition CD.
Following recording, they have offered locals the chance to see them perform once again on Friday at 6.30pm.
The concert will last for one hour with no interval.
They will perform Schubert, Quartettsatz, Haydn – Quartet Op. 76 No. 2, Ravel, Quartet in F (1st movement) and Janacek, Quartet No.1 ‘Kreutzer Sonata’.
