IT'S a musical month at Vue, Stroud this September, with era-defining musical acts being brought to the big screen.

Tomorrow, Slipknot documentary, Day of the Gusano, follows the band through their historic Knotfest Mexico City performance. This highly-anticipated show captures the chaos, excitement and community that has been cultivated over the past 20 years.

Then, starring heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath: The End of the End is on September 28. The documentary chronicles the band's final tour after nearly 50 years together, and features exclusive new interviews and renditions of their iconic songs.

For those with quite different tastes, The Royal Opera: The Magic Flute is on September 20 and 24.

Or for a totally different flavour again, the 1990s nostalgic treat Spice World is back for its 20th Anniversary on Friday, September 29.

Johnny Carr, alternative content manager at Vue, commented: “Our big screen events calendar always offers a wide range of quality content and we’re really excited by the musical influence that we have coming up this month.”
