NAKAMARRA, who have recently performed on the main stage at the Isle of Wight Festival, are to make a rare appearance at a small community venue in aid of charity tomorrow night.
Kingswood village hall is the honoured host, with funds raised going towards Longfield Hospice.
Guitarist/keyboard player Jamie Sprosen, who was once a student at Katherine Lady Berkeley's School, is particularly looking forward to playing a home gig.
Nakamarra are an indie-electro five piece band with ambient vibes and dream-like vocals. They have been tipped by industry leaders as a 'band to watch.' Alongside the Isle of Wight, they have played at Common People and Bestival.
The band has had a string of successful releases, with their debut EP, Zacapa and their last two singles Temptress and Honey being premiered on BBC Introducing Solent.
Local band Exiled will also be playing for this good cause.
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are £5. For more information or to reserve tickets, please phone 07472 002620.
