LEADING wine-maker and wildlife conservationist Jeremy Borg is coming to Cirencester for a relaxed wine tasting and barbecue at Talking Wines, off Midland Road, this Friday, September 8, from 7-9pm.

Jeremy is passionate about the conservation of the wild dogs of Southern Africa. He grew up in the bush in Zimbabwe and in Malawi and spent a number of years living and working at Lloyd’s camp in Chobe National Park.

Through his company Painted Wolf Wines, Jeremy supports conservation projects throughout Southern Africa, including UK based Tusk Trust, whose patron is Prince William. Five percent of the profit from every bottle of Jeremy’s wine bought goes to Tusk.

“It is a pleasure to have him over here in the UK,” said Simon Thomson of Talking Wines.

“The wine has featured in the annual Top 100 wines in the US publication Wine Enthusiast from over 16,000 tasted, and was runner-up Diner Club South African Wine Maker of the Year in 2015.”

Tickets bought in advance are £15, including a tasting of five wines and barbecue food. There will also be 10 percent off of Painted Wolf wines on the night.
