STROUD Folk Weekend returns this September, with three days of song, music and dance.
The weekend kicks off on Friday, September 22 with a concert at Ruskin Mill.
Then on Saturday morning, enjoy a selection of workshops, with tuition in musical accompaniment, voice care, clog dancing for beginners and West Country songs. There will also be dancing in the streets throughout the day.
On Sunday afternoon there will be a free Folk Club concert featuring local bands and musicians in the Imperial Hotel.
Throughout the weekend there will be sessions and sing-arounds open to all comers at the Little Vic and in the Ale House.
Most events are free. However charges apply for concerts at Ruskin Mill and the Sub Rooms, and for some workshops.
