CHEDWORTH Roman Villa has some special events to enjoy this summer.
Over the summer holidays, until September 3, the villa is hosting a fun children's trail, giving kids the chance to dress up to explore the ancient Roman site. Most afternoons there will be seasonal craft activities too.
This Wednesday, August 9, at 11am-1.30pm, children can also join James the ranger for a fun-filled bug hunt.
And from Monday, August 14 until the end of the month, be the first to witness new discoveries as you watch archaeologists excavate the north side of the villa.
See nationaltrust.org.uk/chedworth for more information and admission costs. National Trust members are free.
